MAINTENANCE
Engine Oil
Always check and change the oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic
Maintenance Chart beginning on page 50. See page 56 for oil recom-
mendations.
Oil Check
The oil tank is located under
the seat.
1. Position the vehicle on a
level surface. Place the
transmission in PARK.
2. Start the engine and allow
it to idle for 20-30 sec-
onds. Stop the engine.
3. Remove the seat. See page
27.
4. Remove the dipstick. Wipe
it dry with a clean cloth.
5. Reinstall the dipstick.
Screw it in completely.
6. Remove the dipstick. Make
sure that the oil level is in
the safe range. Add oil if
necessary. Do not overfill.
7. Reinstall the dipstick.
