Installation
Video Outputs
There are four electrical coax video outputs at BNCs J5, J6, J7, and J8.
If a Transceiver SFP optical submodule is installed, one fiber optic output
(TX2) is also available. If a Dual Transmitter SFP optical submodule is
installed, two fiber optic outputs (TX1 and TX2) are also available. Each
fiber optic output must be enabled using remote controls. All coax and fiber
optic outputs can be active at the same time.
J1 – J4 BNCs
These BNCs are not used on the 8985PRC module. BNCs J1 and J3 are
looping inputs that support the optional Genlock submodule on the
8985FSP/FS modules with an external genlock reference. BNCs J2 and J4
output an auto tracking delay signal on the 8985FSP/FS that can be fed to
audio modules to synchronize the audio to the Genlock reference.
