8900NET (Net Card) — Instruction Manual
Using the 8900NET GUI
Note
Make sure all modules of the same type are running the same software
version and have the same part number silk-screened on the printed circuit
board. Downloading a configuration to a module with a different software
version or part number can produce unexpected results.
If a different type of module is installed in this slot, a warning message
will state that the original module type has been replaced with another
module type. In this case, a
Clear
button will appear allowing you to
clear the stored configuration from the previous module.
You may also select the
Learn Module Config
button at any time to save the
current configuration for this slot. The configuration is saved on the
8900NET module. If the 8900NET module is removed or powered
down, the stored configurations are not saved.
When no
Restore upon Install
checkboxes on any of the media module Slot
Config web pages are selected and the
Always Slot Refresh
checkbox on
the 8900NET Configuration web page is unchecked, the slot refresh
polling function on the 8900NET module will be disabled. See the
Always Slot Refresh
checkbox description on
for more details.
