Checking after power-on
After powering on the firewall, verify that:
•
The LEDs on the front panel are normal. For more information about LEDs, see "MPU LEDs."
•
The fans are operating properly, and you can hear fan rotating.
•
The configuration terminal displays information normally. You can see the startup window on the
local configuration terminal.
•
After the POST, the system prompts you to press Enter. When the command line prompt appears,
the firewall is ready to configure.
Displaying boot information
Power on the firewall, and you can see the following information:
System is starting...
Press Ctrl+D to access BASIC-BOOTWARE MENU
Press Ctrl+T to start heavy memory test
Booting Normal Extend BootWare........
The Extend BootWare is self-decompressing.....Done!
