Introduction
maxReality™ is a plug-in utility for Autodesk® 3ds Max®* that enables the creation of
virtual and augmented reality content which can be played back in stereoscopic 3D
using Vuzix Wrap AR eyewear. Using maxReality, 3ds Max models and objects can
be brought to life with animation, interactivity and special effects such as blue
screening and saved for playback on any Windows based computer, with or without
3ds Max.
maxReality installs in the Utilities panel of Autodesk 3ds Max. It consists of two
main tools plus seven Controls and a separate maxReality Viewer application,
discussed in the following section of this User Guide.
Using original 3ds Max creations or content imported from 3
rd
party sources, you can
create complex scenes and characters, add interactivity and even port from one scene,
saved as a VWD file, to another to create world as large as your imagination.
