3. Use the ISDN network ports as the primary and secondary
sources. Use INTERNAL as the tertiary source. For example, if
the QPRI 2921 is in slot 2, the shelf timing table should look
like Figure 2-4. Exit to the Configuration Menu.
NOTE: Ensure that the card used as a timing source is set to Receive
Clock From Shelf as well.
ISDN PRI Port Configuration
The ISDN dial-backup circuit uses the NCM 2000 and the QPRI 2921
to allow access to the ISDN circuit as an alternate T1 circuit under
defined line failure conditions. Since the following procedures are
for an example which may not be exactly like your configuration
requirements, use them only as a guide for your own configuration.
NOTE: Use the ISDN Setup Checklist to help guide you through the
ISDN setup process.
