Remote Units (RUs)
Remote Units (RUs) deployed in a Safari Network can
either operate solely within the coverage area of one
NCU, or roam throughout the network without losing
connectivity as they move from one SCU cell to
another. RUs may be utilized in both fixed or mobile
environments, and offer a multitude of physical user
interfaces and protocols in support of applications.
These components work together in various
combinations to enable the implementation of
multiple network topologies.

The Safari Network meets the requirements of a number
