10.1 Remote master mode settings
Slave groups A and B are always activated.
They cannot be deactivated. The master flash
unit and slave group C can be activated or
deactivated, however. If the master flash unit
is deactivated, it only controls the slave units
and does not contribute to exposing the
shot.
10.1.1 Remote master mode settings
• Switch on the flash unit with the

button. The start screen appears.

• Press the sensor button of the displayed

mode of operation on the touch display as
many times as it takes for the display for
selecting the mode of operation to appear.

• Press the

sensor buttons on the

touch display and select

.

• Press the

sensor button on the

touch display. Remote master mode is set.

Remote master mode is shown in the picture.
The master itself has no influence on exposu-
re (REMOTE MASTER Off) and no lighting con-
ditions (RATIO) are set.

If the master is supposed to help with the
exposure, then:
• Press sensor button

on the touch

display for the flash mode until the selecti-
on for the master flash unit appears.

• Press the

sensor button on the

touch display.

• Press the

sensor button on the touch

display.
The setting is adopted immediately.

Remote master mode is shown in the picture.
The master emits a flash and contributes to
the exposure (REMOTE MASTER). No lighting
conditions (RATIO) are set.
