6.7.14 Header Pipe Diameter (Saddle and Saddle Hole Only) (Figure 6-57)

1. Nominal Pipe Size Selection – With this radio button checked only nominal pipe sizes can be selected
from the list below (2)
2. Standard Pipe Diameter Selection – Select the nominal size of the pipe that the cut will occur on if a
saddle hole or the size of the pipe that the branch will go into if a saddle cut. Pipe size is limited by the
machine being used (See Table 3-3) if performing a saddle hole cut. If performing a saddle cut then the
size of the pipe is limited by the internal diameter value.
3. Custom Pipe Selection – Select the custom size of the pipe that the cut will occur on if a saddle hole or
the size of the pipe that the branch will go into if a saddle cut in inches. Only one selection can be made at
one time: Nominal or Custom. Pipe size is limited by the machine being used (See Table 3-3) if
performing a saddle hole cut. If performing a saddle cut then the size of the pipe is limited by the internal
diameter value.
4. Down Button – Lower the selected value of the custom pipe diameter by one inch.
5. Custom Pipe Size – If the ‘Custom Pipe Diameter’ (2) radio button is selected this will be the custom pipe
size actual diameter in inches.
6. Up Button – Raise the selected value of the custom pipe diameter by one inch.
7. Back Button – Go to the previous cut selection screen.
8. Next Button – Go to the next cut selection screen.
