Cut Speed (Figure 6-45)

1. Up Button – Increases torch cutting speed in one inch per minute increments. The maximum value is
automatically limited by the ‘Cut Speed Maximum Allowable’ value in Settings and the value is displayed
below [4]. (Figure 6-11 – [1])
2. Default Cut Speed – The window displays the initial default value for torch cutting speed in inches per
minute. The value can be increased or decreased by clicking the Up Button (1) or Down Button (3). Once
selected this value will be saved with the cut in the library. The value is limited by the ‘Cut Speed
Maximum & Minimum Allowable’ value in Settings and is displayed below [4 & 5]. (Figure 6-11 –
[1]&[2])
3. Down Button – Decreases torch cutting speed in one inch per minute increments. This value is limited
by the ‘Cut Speed Minimum Allowable’ value in Settings and is displayed below [5]. (Figure 6-11 – [2])
4. Minimum Speed Allowable – The smallest value that can be selected for the default speed value. This
value is limited by the ‘Cut Speed Minimum Allowable’ value in the settings. (Figure 6-11 – [2])
5. Maximum Speed Allowable – The largest value that can be selected for the default speed value. This
value is limited by the ‘Cut Speed Minimum Allowable’ value in the settings. (Figure 6-11 – [2]) It is also
limited by the relative maximum speed of the ring gear motor; these limits can be seen in (Table 3).
6. Back Button – Go to the previous cut selection screen.
7. Next Button – Go to the next cut selection screen.
