“M” Indicator
The “
M” indicator shows the channel is in the transceiver’s “Scan Memo-
ry”.

” Battery Indicator

”: Full battery
“
”: Lower battery
“
”: Battery is very low
“
(Blinking)”: Prepare to charge the battery
“
U/I/C” Indicator
The “
U/I/C” indicators show the “band” of operation. “U” indicates the USA
band; “
I” indicates the International band; and “C” indicates the Canadian
band.
“ ” Indicators
The “ ” indicator shows the TX output power is “Low” (1 Watt) power.
NOTE
When the “ ” icon is not shown the power is set to 5 Watts (for
HX150) or 2.5 Watts (HX100).
“WX ALT” Indicator
“
WX”: NOAA weather channel is selected.
“
WX ALT”: “Weather Alert” is received.
“TW DW” Indicator
“
TW”: Tri-Watch is activated.
“
DW”: Dual Watch is activated.
Channel Display
The operating channel is shown on the LCD in both the transmission and
reception modes.
