Connect in this way if your TV is compatible with Progressive Scan.
NOTES:
• Use the three commercially available video cords to connect the ADV-M71’s color component output connectors to the TV or
monitor.
• Set the “TV TYPE” in “VIDEO SETUP” in “DVD SETUP” to comply with your TV’s video format. When the TV is NTSC formated
set to NTSC.

About selecting the video output “INTERLACED” or “PROGRESSIVE”, refer to page 39.
CONSUMERS SHOULD NOTE THAT NOT ALL HIGH DEFINITION TELEVISION SETS ARE FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH THIS
PRODUCT AND MAY CAUSE ARTIFACTS TO BE DISPLAYED IN THE PICTURE. IN CASE OF 525 PROGRESSIVE SCAN PICTURE
PROBLEMS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE USER SWITCH THE CONNECTION TO THE “STANDARD DEFINITION” OUTPUT.
