Unpacking and Assembling the Machine
The DR LEAF and LAWN VACUUM shipped from the factory with the wheels dismounted from the
axles. The following instructions will detail how to unpack the machine, assemble the Wheels to the
Axles, install the Tilt Bed, assemble the Collector Box, and install the Caster Wheel Jack* (Subaru
model*).
Tools and Supplies Needed:

Metal shears

(2) Side Collector Box Panels
•
(1) Front Collector Box Panel
•
(1) Rear Collector Box Panel
•
(1) Centrifugal Separator with attached vacuum hose
•
(1) Blower Outlet Hose Assembly
•
(2) Wheels (w/pre-lubricated bearings) and Tires
•
(1) Trailer Assembly w/3 Support Legs w/Casters (B&S Engine model)
•
(1) Trailer Assembly w/Caster Wheel Jack (Subaru Robin Engine model)
•
(1) Tilt Bed
•
(1) each, 7" and 8" Hose Adapter (as ordered)
•
Hearing Protectors
•
(1) Plastic Bag containing miscellaneous mounting hardware:
- (4) 5/16" x 3/4" Wing Screw
- (4) 5/16" x 2" Wing Screw
- (4) 5/16" x 1" Bolt
- (16) 5/16" Flat Washer
- (8) 5/16" Lock Washer
- (4) 5/16" Lock Nut
- (1) Hitch Extender with 1/2" x 2" Bolt, Lock Nut and Washer
- (3) Clevis Pin
- (4) 3/4" Wheel Washer
- (2) Axle Cotter Pin
- (1) White Plastic Cable Tie
- (3) Hitch Clip
NOTE: For B
&
S Electric Start models, the Ignition Switch Keys are
temporarily located on the Battery Bracket by means of a
plastic Tie. On the Subaru Engine, the Keys are tied to the
Switch Housing. Cut the Tie to remove the Keys for use.
