However, the software package installed on your machine may have a different name. If you
don’t have your HP documentation, run the swlist(1M) command and look for Datakit or CommKit
in the description fields.
When you remove the software, you may see the following warning:
WARNING: The software specified contains a kernel fileset. It will be
necessary to reconfigure the kernel and reboot the system to
remove the functionality from the kernel.
If you plan to proceed immediately with the installation of IP-CommKit, you can ignore the notice
about rebooting the machine.

If a version of IP-CommKit was previously installed and the directory /tmp/ipcommkit is not empty,
remove its contents, logged in as root:
#
cd /tmp/ipcommkit
#
pwd (Verify that you are in the current directory)
#
rm –rf *
