-

The utilities menu now contains an option “By Reaction Time” that lists the round winners
by reaction time. This list can be used to award byes.

-

The utilities menu now contains an option “Copy Vehicle Times” that will copy qualifying
or eliminations times for all rounds or a specific round from one vehicle number to another,
in the same category.

-

The utilities menu now contains an option “Increment Driver’s Age” that will add 1 to the
age of each driver that is registered. This can be used to speed up the registration process at
the start of a new season for drivers that participated the previous year.

-

The category menu in CARS now contains an option “Perfect Reaction Time.” This option
allows you to enter the value that CARS will consider a perfect reaction time. Use this
option when the C44 is configured for tree-based Reaction Times.

-

The wording of the “Ladder” option in the category menu of CARS has been revised. Pick
“Sportsman Ladder” if you want CARS to pair the top half of the field with the bottom half.
Ex. 1-9, 2-10, etc. in a 16 car field. Pick “Pro Ladder” if you want CARS to use the
professional pairings. Ex. 1-16, 2-15, etc. in a 16 car field. The “Pro Ladder” setting is only
valid for 1-16 car ladders.

-

Don’t automatically display “EVENT SPONSOR” on the third line of the header for
printouts. This line can be used for the event sponsor or for other text.

-

The Configure/System menu now contains an option titled “Track Points Default,” that will
change the default value for the track points field of the registration record. Choose “Enter
New Racers” to use a default value of zero for new drivers. Choose “Do Not Enter New
Racers” to use a default value of -1 for new drivers. When this field is -1, the driver is not
in the track points program.

-

Also, when the points are cleared, only clear the track points if the driver was in the points
program (the track points value was not -1). This should reduce the number of registration
records that need to be edited for the purpose of adding or removing the driver from the
track points program.

Bug

Fixes

-

The address line on the View Screen and Announcer’s Monitor still contained a comma
when cleared.

-

A database error occurred while editing elimination data.

-

Closest to Dial-In: CARS only displayed winners who were over their Dial-Ins.

-

Qualifying by Reaction Time: Cars who do not finish should still qualify by Reaction Time.

-

Team Points: The team points would not print.

-

The last line on ladder printouts contained a dummy field.

-

When the ladder round is set to 3, set the qualifying order based on round 2 data only and
print the ladders correctly.

-

Final results would not print with only two entries in a category.

VERSION 5.11

Dial-In information. In addition, an asterisk “*” is displayed next to the number of vehicles
that have already received a 'BYE'.

reaction time. This list can be used to award byes.
