4.5.2 Browse Address Table
The
Browse Address Table is displayed in Figure 49. The entire address table (up to
512 entries) can be displayed or a particular MAC address can be located. In the field
named
Sort by, use the spacebar to select the type of search you wish to have
performed (Sequence or MAC Address) then select the
Find menu option.
If multiple pages are required, the menu options
PreviousPage and NextPage will be
displayed. These allow the viewing of all located MAC addresses. The MAC addresses
and the ports to which they are associated will also be displayed. The VALID status
indicates the entry has not been aged out of the table. An INVALID status indicates the
entry has been aged out of the table or deleted by the user and may be replaced when
a new entry is added. The STATIC status indicates the entry is controlled by the
management CPU and automatic learning and aging of the entry will not take place.
