To start the Blade SSF core:
1. Set the IP address of SSF host in the ssfApi.conf file located at
/opt/ssf/etc/config/bcsim
2. Run the sh bcsimf140_eSM.sh command
a. For example, this script updates SSF default configuration for the following setups:
 System Manager at PrAMC-7211 or PrAMC7311.
 System Manager at External PC connected on base network.
Enter your choice 1 or 2: 2
b. Run the sh /etc/rc3.d/S99SsfBcsimRun.sh start command
Replace the string “” with the blade name on which the blade SSF core is
installed. For example, if the blade SSF core is installed on ATCA-F125 blade, then
replace “” with ATCA-F125.
3.3.7.3 Starting SSF Application Agent to connect to External PC
Starting SSF application agent provides access to the required application from SSF.
1. Set the IP address of SSF host in the ssfApi.conf file located at
/opt/ssf/etc/config//
.
For example, /opt/ssf/etc/config/diagnostics or
/opt/ssf/etc/config/srs
2. Execute the following command:
sh /etc/rc3.d/S99Ssf.sh start
Replace the string "" with the application that you want to start
and access it using SSF. For example, if you want to start and access the ViewCheck
application, then replace "" with "diagnostics".
