After you start the SSF core, you can stop, restart, and check the status of SSF using the
following command:
/opt/ssf/etc/config/S98startPostgre.sh {start|stop|restart|status}
/opt/ssf/etc/config/S99SsfRun7311.sh {start|stop|restart|status}

Starting Blade SSF Core
Starting Blade SSF core initiates the bcsimd services, enabling communication between SSF
and the blade on which blade SSF core is installed. You can monitor, manage, and configure the
linux standard service using SSF interfaces. It also sets the hostname of the blade depending
upon the shelf ID and slot number. By default the host name is non-configurable. If you want to
change the host name, edit /etc/rc3.d/S99SsfBcsimRun
SET_HOST_NAME to “yes”.
