3.10.2 Over Current

The protection point of over current protection (OCP) is preset in the load. The
activation values of the OCP circuit are shown in Table 3-3.

When an over-current condition occurs, the OCP circuit is activated, and the lower 5-
character monitor on the front panel of the electronic load flashes “oCP”. The load will
automatically go to a LOAD OFF state.

Once the over current condition is reset, the lower 5-character monitor will resume
normal operation.

3.10.3 Over Power

The protection point of over power protection (OPP) is preset in the load. The activation
values of the OPP circuit are shown in Table 3-3.

When an over-power condition occurs, the OPP circuit is activated, and the upper 5-
character monitor on the front panel of the electronic load flashes “oPP”. The load will
automatically go to a LOAD OFF state.

Once the over power condition is reset, the upper 5-character monitor will resume
normal operation.

3.10.4 Over Temperature

SLH-Series DC electronic loads also are designed with a temperature sensor(s) for over
temperature protection (OTP). The activation values are shown in Table 3-3.

When an over-temperature condition occurs, the OTP circuit is activated, and the lower
5-character monitor on the front panel of the electronic load flashes “otP”. The load will
automatically go to a LOAD OFF state.

When OTP occurs, please check the environment condition such as the ambient
temperature and distance between the rear panel of Electronic load mainframe and wall
is greater than 6in. / 15cm.

Once the over temperature condition is reset, the lower 5-character monitor will resume
normal operation.
