1. Symbol type is expressed as one letter: X= External, I = Internal, N = Local.
2. Values are given as an eight-digit hexadecimal number, such as 0000020f.
Note:
Symbols, symbol type, and values are separated by one space.
How To Generate Zilog Format Symbol Files
Use the "mnm" MUFOM utility with the following command line. (<
filename
>.lnk is the
output file of the linker after relocation, as with an absolute address file.)
mnm -l -s -o <
filename
>.sym <
filename
>.lnk

1. Values are given as a four-digit hexadecimal number, such as F02B.
2. Some values are given as "taXY" with XY being a two-digit hexadecimal number.
Note:
Values are not separated by spaces.
How To Convert Zilog Linker Output File
To convert the Zilog linker output file to obtain the Wolfgang format, use the "cnvzisym.exe"
utility with the following command line:
cnvzisym <
filename
