appears indicating Upload Successful. Click on OK.
Up Loading Data from API-8/232
1. From the Transfer menu select GO.
2. In the Transfer Direction box select Upload Data from Board.
3. In the Transfer Execution Box Click GO. The Data Transfer Window will appear.
4. During data transfer the LOAD LED will be illuminated.
5. When data transfer is complete (progress bar in Data Transfer Window is at 100%) a message box
appears indicating Upload Successful. Click on OK.
Saving and Opening Programming Data Files
1. Upon completion of programming, the API-8/232 data may be saved as a file for retrieval or
Re-programming of the unit.
2. To save a file, from the File menu select Save As.
3. In the ‘Save In’ box, select the directory/drive to which the file is to be saved.
4. In the ‘File Name’ dialogue box, type in the name of the file to be saved. Click on Save.
5. To open a previously saved file, from the File menu select Open.
6. In the ‘Look In’ box, select the directory/drive to which the file has been saved.
7. In the ‘File Name’ dialogue box, type in the name of the file to be opened. Click on Open.
Note: The paging interface programming data files will be saved in the following
format: filename.pip
