Chapter 2 Basic Operations

Mode:
Choose the video signal for the Compix board.
Video Output:
Control the sub-carrier phase and horizontal or vertical sync with the
switcher.
Color Control:
Adjust the incoming video feed’s Brightness, Contrast, Saturation,
and Hue.
Activations:
View, save, or reset activations on the Compix System.
Test & Capture Frame Tabs:
Display test patterns or capture windows.

Use the Controller to configure the
Compix drivers as desired.

Tip
This function is not available
for Matrox-based systems.
The capture function differs depend-
ing on the video card being used.
For SD-SDI and Analog systems,
the Capture function actually exists
in the Controller, not in GenCG
itself. To get to the Capture function,
go to [Tools] > [Controller] to open
the AllCG Control window shown
to the right. To view the Capture
function, select [Preview >>], then
click on the Capture Frame tab and
check the [Capture Enable] box. To
capture from the preview window
below, click the [Still] button.
