Chapter 2 Basic Operations
Menu Options
File Menu
The File Menu contains all options
regarding GenCG files.
Open a new document with [New]
or open an existing document with
[Open...]. The [Open Folder] option
opens all GenCG files within the
selected folder.
New and Open
Close a currently opened file or
select [Close All] to close all opened
files.
Close
Save a document or change the
name of the document with [Save
As...]. Select [Save All] to save all
opened files.
Save Save in Previous GenCG File
Formats
GenCG’s Save function is backwards
compatible. Save GenCG files in previous
formats, including 4.6.2 - 4.7, 4.6.1, 4.6, 4.5,
4.1, 4.0, 3.0, 2.3, 2.2, 2.0 - 2.1, and 1.7 - 1.9.
Tip
New features saved to files from newer
versions of GenCG will not be available
if opened on previous verions.
