6) Slide the battery cover over the instrument handle
until the securing catch engages with the
instrument body.
7) Check that battery cover is secure and catch is
properly engaged.
8) Replace the securing screw in the battery cover
then, using a suitable screwdriver, tighten in a
clockwise direction to secure. Do not overtighten
the securing screw.
12.3.2 Charging (Rechargeable) Batteries
WARNING:
Never attempt to recharge non
rechargeable cells.
CAUTION 1:
Switch the instrument off when
charging rechargeable batteries.
There are four types of battery charger suitable for
recharging GP 350 batteries, as follows:
A Standard Instrument Charger (Part No. 67134)
A Charging Station (Part No.67101), used with
Power Supply (Part No.14613), 12V Power Sup-
ply (Part No.12988) or 24V Reduction Box (Part
No.67233).
A 12V/24V Vehicle Instrument Charger (Part No.
66206).
