1) Using a suitable screwdriver, unscrew in a counter
clockwise direction and then remove the securing
screw from the battery cover assembly. Refer to
Fig. 12.11.
2) Using your thumb, press the securing catch to
release the battery cover assembly from the
instrument body then slide the cover in direction
shown in Fig. 12.11 until completely removed.
