Tires and wheels

ț Only use sets of tires and rims of the
same type and make.
ț Tires must be of the correct size for
the rim.
ț Break in new tires for approximately
65 miles (100 km) at moderate
speeds.
ț Regularly check the tires and rims
for damage. Dented or bent rims can
cause tire inflation pressure loss or
damage to the tire beads.
ț If the vehicle is heavily loaded, check
tire inflation pressure and correct as
required.
ț Do not allow your tires to wear down
too far. Adhesion properties on wet
roads are sharply reduced at tread
depths under

in (3 mm) for sum-

ț When replacing individual tires, you
should mount new tires on the front
wheels first.
!

company Schrader must be used on
the vehicles not equipped with
TPMS*:

2500
ț TR 418 for vehicle model type
3500
Other tire valves could be damaged
by the specified tire pressures.
