Connect RED battery cable to positive (+}

battery terminal with hex bolt, fíat washer,
lockwashsr and hex not (shown foil size below)

found in bag of parts (Fig. S). Tigh fan securely.
Connect BLACK ground cable to negative N

battery arminal with mmelning hex bolt, flat

washer, lockwasher and hex nut (shown full

size below) found in bag of parts (Fig, 5).

Tighten securely.

NOTE: !F YOU HAVE A WEAK BATTERY. SEE "START
ING YOUR TRACTOR WITH A WEAK BATTERY"
{PAGE 21).

Using the slotiad hole on one side of the battery

support (Fig. 6) Insert one battery bait into frame
slot (head of bolt down). Fasten the battery bolt to
the terminal guard using wing nut. (Bolts, nuls and
terminal guard found in bag of parts)

Assemble the remaining bail to other side of bah
tery support and fasten terminal guard to It with
rematnlngwlngmit(shownfullsizebetow).

Tighten

wing nuts seairaly by hand (Fsg. 6).

KEEP TERMINAL ACCESS DOORS CLOSED
WHEN NOT IN USE,

DO NOT START ENGINE UNTIL MOWER
SUSPENSION BRACKET HAS BEEN RE

LEASED, SEE MOWER AND DRIVE BELT
INSTALLATION.

ASSEMBLY

i. Replace air Intake duct (Fig. 4). Make sure

bottom Up of duct sits between battery and Up

of bat№ry tray.

/. Remove plastic from tractor hood and close.

NOTE: USE TERMINAL ACCESS DOORS (FIG. 6) FOR;
