If. Tire Care

a Meimam tire pressure of 14 PS! m from tires

arid 12 PS I m rear tires

b. Keep tires free of gasoline, oil, or insect control

chemicals which can harm rubber.

c. Amid stamps, stones, deep ruts ana other

hazards that may cause tire damage.

d. Removing front wheel for tira repair (Fig. 42},:

—Block up front axis secumly.

■-Remove hub cap, kiip ring and washer to

allow wheel removal,

-■-Repair tire and reassemble Replace washer

ana snap kiip ring securely in axle groove.

Replace hub cap.

e. Removing mar wheel for tire repair (Fig. 43}:

--Block up rear axle securely,
—■Remove hub cap. E-ring and washer to allow

wheel removal.

■—Repair tíre and reassemble. While maintaining

key position, replace washer and snap E-ring
securely in axle groove, Replace hub cap.

12, Storage

Remove mowsr from tractor for winter storage.

When mower is to be stored for a period of time,

clean it thoroughly, remove all dirt, grease, leaves,
etc. Give blades and underside of homing a good
coat of grease or rust prevsntadvs. Store in a
chan dry area.

B. Engine Oil

Drain {with engine warm} and replace with clean

engine ail. (See chart, page 16).

C. Cylmdarm

t. Remove spark plugs.

2. Pour one ounce of oil through spark plugholes

into cylindsfs.

3. Turn ignition key to "START”position fora

few seconds to distribute oil.

4. Replace with new spark plugs.
