TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE / REMEDY (SEE INDEX!
WILL NOT START
Fin Tank with Gasoline, Check Fuel Une and Carburetor
{cleerr if necessary}. Replace Fuel Filter Use Fresh Fuel
Recharge or replace Battery
Check mring
Replace Spark Plugis) artd adjust gap
Drain and replace oil for proper temperature
WILL NOT TURN OVER
Push Clmch/Brake Pedal into brake position
Charge or replace Battery
Move Attachment dutch lever to "DISENGAGED”position
Replace Ignition Switch
Replace Interlock Switch fes}
Replace Solenoid or Starter
Replace Spark Plugis}
Replace Fuse
Check all Wire Connections and “Ground " Points
ENGINE CLICKS BUT WON'T START
Clean Battery Terminais
Replace Starter or Solenoid
Charge or Replace Battery
Check Wire Connections and ''Ground" Points
HARD TO START
Place Throttle Control In “FAST”position and run
starter several times w clear out gas
Remove Air Filter and dean
Replace Sperk Plugis} and adjust gap
Recharge or replace Battery
Check the Wring
Drain Fuel Tank end Carburetor. Use Fresh Fuel,
Replace Fuel Filter
Make necessary adjustments to Carburetor
Major Engine Overhaul
