Step 1. Attach slide release levers to the bottom side of the
drawer as shown in Figure1. Pay attention to the location
shown in this drawing. The release lever marked L goes on the
left side of the drawer if you are looking at it from the top front.
While installing the slide release levers, you will be looking at
the bottom so L will go on the left. Use the #8 x ½” screws and
attach to the front of the drawer. Do not install these screws to
the bottom or they will come through.
Step 2. Test fit the slides as shown in Figure 2. The rear tab will
need to fit into a hole in the back of the drawer. The front of the
slide will need to fit the release levers attached in step 1. Once
you are comfortable with the fit, depress the red release lever
and remove the slides so that they can be attached to the closet
panels.
Step 3. The Rev-A-Shelf closet jewelry drawers are designed to
fit 18”, 24” or 30” openings. This opening can be up to 1/16” less
but cannot exceed the nominal width.
Step 4. Determine the location the jewelry drawer will be
installed. Most closet system holes are 37mm from the front
edge of the closet panel. In this case, use 1 euro screw through
the second mounting hole in the slide as shown in Figure 3.
Step 5. Use a level to position the rear of the slide and then use
a #8 x ½” flat head screw to attach the rear of the slide to the
closet panel. Repeat for other slide.
Step 6. With both slides installed, tilt the jewelry drawer
as shown in Figure 4 so that the rear of the drawer
engages the rear tab of the slide, then rotate down
and push in so that the slide engages the release levers.
Step 7. Cycle the drawer several times to ensure correct
installation.
