Canada, installation must be in accordance with CSA
B149.1, and applicable local codes.
There are a variety of ways to provide venting
and combustion air for the boiler (see Figure 8).
The Mighty Max HH boiler is certified as a true
direct vent unit when installed according to the
instructions for horizontal venting and ducted
combustion air. This can be done even if the runs are
vertical.
2.11Top-to-Rear Vent Collar Conversion
The Mighty Max HH boiler is shipped with the
vent collar on top of the heater. Follow this procedure
to convert it for rear connection (see Figure 9).

14. Within three (3) days of start-up, recheck all air
bleeders and the expansion tank as described in
Steps 4 and 8 above.
IMPORTANT
The installer is responsible for identifying to the
owner/operator the location of all emergency
shutoff devices.
