When media length is over 5 inches
(127mm), set MaxMedia Length to a
length that is more than two times of
media length.
Note:
This function detects over what distance a “media end” or “paper jam ” event is detected. The
printer looks for the gap between each section of media and, if it does not see a signal after
the maximum media length, it stops with a “Paper Jam ” error. If the value is less than the label
length, the printer will always think there is a paper jam. We recommend setting the value of
MaxMedia Length to approximately double the label length being used.
