Copper GBIC Transceiver Installation Notes
Before installing a copper SFP transceiver, ensure that auto-negotiation is enabled for the
transceiver ports. You should also ensure that the auto-negotiation is enabled for the port at the
other end of the link:
1. Use the show port command to check the auto-negotiation status of the transceiver ports.
2. Use the set port negotiation
auto-negotiation if necessary.
