Difference measurement and Pass/Fail 14
Measure reference
You can use this function to
measure a standard to be used as
a reference for later
measurements.
We recommend you perform a
number of measurements on the
standard with Statistics turned on.
Activate “Measure reference”.
Initiate the measurement with
operate. After the last
measurement, a window appears
where you can enter the reference
name.
If you inadvertently select a name
that has already been used, a
message will appear in the display
to this effect and the marker arrow
will jump back to the first position
of the name.
Measured values are saved as a
target value of the reference. At the
same time, Difference
measurement is turned on and the
measured reference is activated. If
you would like to define additional
limit values, you can use the
“Change reference” function.
