STANDARD WARRANTY:
Gas-Fired Water Heater
INTERNATIONAL, INC.
PRESSURE VESSEL: 10 YEARS NON-PRORATED
The shell shall carry a non-prorated 10 year guarantee from shipment against leakage due to
thermal shock, water side corrosion, mechanical defects or workmanship.
HEAT EXCHANGER TUBES/COMBUSTION CHAMBER: 5 YEARS
The heat exchanger/combustion chamber shall carry a 5 year prorated, limited warranty from
shipment against any co ndensate co rrosion, t hermal st ress failure, m echanical def ects or
workmanship. O peration of t he boiler usi ng co ntaminated air will void the warranty. T he heat
exchangers combustion ch amber sh all not be w arranted f rom f ailure due t o scaling, liming,
corrosion, or er osion due t o w ater or i nstallation co nditions. AERCO will r epair, r ebuild or
exchange, at i ts option t he heat ex changer/combustion ch amber acco rding t o t he f ollowing
schedule:

“C-MORE” CONTROL PANEL: 2 YEARS FROM SHIPMENT
AERCO labeled control panels are conditionally warranted against failure for (2) two years from
shipment.
OTHER COMPONENTS: 18 MONTHS FROM SHIPMENT
All other components, with the ex ception of the ignitor and f lame detector, are conditionally
guaranteed against any failure for 18 months from shipment.
AERCO shall accept no responsibility if such item has been improperly installed, operated, or
maintained or i f t he buy er has permitted any unauthorized modification, adjustment, and/or
repairs to the item.
The warranty as set forth on the back page of the Operations & Maintenance Manual is in lieu
of and not in addition to any other express or implied warranties in any documents, or under
any l aw. N o sa lesman or ot her r epresentative of AERCO has any authority to expand
warranties beyond the f ace of t he sa id w arranty and pur chaser sh all not r ely on any or al
statement ex cept as stated i n t he sa id w arranty. A n O fficer of A ERCO m ust do any
modifications to t his warranty i n w riting. AERCO M AKES NO W ARRANTY O F
MERCHANTABILITY OR F ITNESS F OR P ARTICULAR P URPOSE O R A NY O THER
EXPRESS O R I MPLIED W ARRANTIES. AERCO di sclaims all r esponsibility f or any special,
incidental or consequential damages. Any cl aim r elating t o t he pr oduct m ust be f iled w ith
AERCO not later than 14 day s after the event-giving rise to such claim. Any claims relating to
this product shall be limited to the sale price of the product at the time of sale. The sale of the
product is specifically conditioned upon acceptance of these terms.
