Printing Data

Press the

PRINT button to send data to a printer or computer.


NOTE: To ensure that the desired data is output correctly, first set the printing parameters (Section 3.9) and the Communication
parameters (Section 3.10).

NOTE: Data may also be printed using the P command. Refer to Section 5.1.

Dual Scale Operation

If a second scale base is attached to the indicator, press and hold the

1s

2 button to alternate the

display between the readings for scale 1 and scale 2. The scale symbol on the display identifies
which scale is active. 1s

indicates that scale 1 is active. s

2 indicates that scale 2 is active.


NOTE: DUAL SCALE must be set to ON in the SETUP menu and the second scale must be set up and
calibrated.

Application Modes

Press and hold the

Mode button until the desired application mode is displayed, then release the

button.


NOTE: Only modes enabled in the Mode menu will be displayed. Refer to Section 3.6.

4.9.1 Weighing
Use this mode to weigh items in the desired unit of measure.

Place the item to be weighed on the scale and read the value on the display.

NOTES: If Accumulate is set to OFF in the Setup menu, the weight is briefly displayed in 10x

expanded resolution by pressing the

FUNCTION button.

If Accumulate is set to MANUAL in the Setup menu, the displayed weight is added to the
accumulation data by pressing the

FUNCTION button.

If Accumulate is set to AUTO in the Setup menu, the displayed weight is automatically
added to the accumulation data when the reading becomes stable.




4.9.2 Parts Counting

Use this mode to count parts of uniform weight. The indicator supports positive counting and
negative counting. Positive counting refers to counting parts as they are added to the empty scale.
Negative counting refers to counting parts that have already been added to the scale.

NOTES: If Accumulate is set to OFF in the Setup menu, the APW is displayed briefly by pressing the

FUNCTION button.

If Accumulate is set to MANUAL in the Setup menu, the displayed count is added to the
accumulation data by pressing the

FUNCTION button.

If Accumulate is set to AUTO in the Setup menu, the displayed count is automatically added
to the accumulation data when the reading becomes stable.


Defining the Average Piece Weight for Positive Counting

The average piece weight (APW) is established by placing a specified quantity on the scale.

When the

Mode button is released, CLEAR APW? is displayed. Press the No button to use the stored

APW or press the

Yes button to establish a new APW.


When establishing a new APW, the display alternates between PLACE 10 OR and ENTER APW.
