General
Problem Remedy
The unit does not work. o Check the settings {p. 13-22).
o Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
o Clean the charge contacts and charge
again (p. 15).
o Install the battery properly {p. 64).
o Place the handset on the base unit
and unplug the AC adaptor to reset.
Plug in and try again.
o Re-install the handset battery within
3 minutes to avoid loss of memory
and place the handset on the base
unit. Try again.
You cannot program items,
such as the time/day
adjustment (p. 25). o Programming is not available while
the unit is in the talk or intercom
mode, when viewing the caller
information, or while the answering
system is in use.
o Move closer to the base unit.
Previously programmed
information is erased.
o If a power failure occurs, programmed
information may be erased.
Reprogram if necessary.
“Recharge” is displayed,
“t D ]” flashes or the unit
beeps intermittently.
0 Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
You charged the battery fully,
but
“Recharge” is still
displayed and/or “f a 1”
continues to flash.
