Editing the Caller’s Phone Number
The unit can edit a phone number into one of 4 patterns.
The TALK indicator light must be off.

Lift the handset off the base unit.
OR
If the handset is off the base unit, press
SEARCH © or 0 to enter the list.
Press
SEARCH
© or 0 repeatedly to
find the desired caller.
Press [EDITI to select a pattern.
Each time you press I EDIT I. the number
is rearranged into one of 4 different
patterns.

After editing the number, you can continue
with calling back or storing procedures.
To call back, press I TALK) (p. 38).
To store the number in the handset’s Speed
Dialer memory, press I AUTO I. then press a
memory station number ([o) to (D) (p. 40).
