Problem Remedy
While recording a greeting
message, the unit starts to ring
and stops recording.
o To answer the call, lift the handset off
the base unit or press (JA^. The
recording will stop. Start from the
beginning after hanging up.
During playback, the unit starts
to ring and stops playback.
o To answer the call, lift the handset off
the base unit or press I ta L k I. To
resume playback, press
INEW MESSAGEl after hanging up.
The handset does not display
the name and/or number of the
caller whose message is being
played.
o Place the handset on the base unit
correctly (p. 48).
o If the caller is not stored in the caller
list, the handset will not display the
caller’s information.
The unit does not alert your
pager. o The line mode selection is incorrect.
