Cleaning the Thermal Recording Head

The thermal head in your machine needs to be cleaned periodically to ensure clear facsimile

reproduction.

Open the Receiving Unit by depressing the latch button on the right side cover.

2. Wipe the surface of the thermal head unit with a soft cloth or gauze soaked with ethyl alcohol.

Be sure to use a clean wipe since the thermal head can be easily scratched.
