Volume Control and Other Functions
Adjusting the volume level
• Use the VOLUME control {or press VOL (+/-)
on the remote control) to increase or decrease the
volume level.
->“!.'ijL ilIiJ" is the minimum volume level and
“I'uL riR.\'” is the maximum volume level.
Setting remote control codes
Once you set the appropriate remote control
codes, you can use this remote to control your
other components.The remote control
automatically switches to the appropriate control
mode for that component.
To mute the volume temporarily
Press MUTE on the remote control.
Playback will continue without sound and
1uTc” appears.
•♦To restore the volume,press MUTE again or
increase/decrease the volume level.
Switching to active mode
• Press TUNER repeatedly on the remote control
to select the appropriate active mode.
Each time you press TUNER, the front display
changes as follows;
TUNER/FH
TUNER/AM
• Press AUX repeatedly on the remote control to
select the appropriate active mode.
Each time you press AUX, the front display
changes as follows;
AUX/ANALOG
AUX/DiGITAL

standby mode
• Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel or
POWER (Cl)/I) on the remote control,

AUX
For the TV button you can set aTV remote control
code and for the AUX button you can set a cable
or satellite tuner remote control code,
O Press and hold TV or AUX.
o Press PROG, then release both keys,
e Press the numeric keypad (0~9) to enter the 4
digit remote control codes (see “Remote Control
Codes” at the end of this manual).
O Press PROG again to store.
