As well as adjusting the key, you can also add echo, make it sound
like you are singing in a karaoke bar, or like you have a chorus
singing along with you.
Press [KARAOKE EFFECT].
Select the desired KARAOKE EFFECT mode.
KEYCON^ECHO^CHORUS^LOUNGE

KEYCON: To change the key
ECHO; To adjust the reverberation sound
CHORUS: To add voices staggered slightly from the singer,
giving the effect of singing in a chorus
LOUNGE: To output voices from al! speakers, giving the ef­
fect of singing at a karaoke bar
Select the level of the effect.
KEYCON: -3<-^-2 ^-1 ^0 ^
ECHO: 1 ^2^3-1—^OFF

To cancel the KARAOKE effect mode
Press [KARAOKE EFFECT],
The current mode is displayed. Press again to cancel the mode.
Reference;
Karaoke effect cannot be done to the radio or when the unit is in
6CH DISCRETE INPUT mode.

0 Lower volume with [MIC VOL].
0 Connect the microphone(s).
Press [^ DECK 2 OPEN] and insert the tape.
Close the holder by hand.
Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
71 Press [KARAOKE] to select the voice mode.
Start recording and KARAOKE performance.
•When singing off CDs
Press [• REC/STOP] and start KARAOKE performance.
•When singing off tapes
Press [TAPE EDIT] and start KARAOKE performance.
•To playback the recorded tape, be sure to press [KARAOKE] to
select the “(OFF)" mode.
•You cannot play or record KARAOKE with [TUNER] or [6CH
DISCRETE INPUT] backing.
To record your voice
Do steps D to B above.
1. Press [TAPE].
2. Press [• REC/STOP] to start recording.
3. Speak through the microphone and adjust volume with
[VOLUME] and [MIC VOL].
