NOTE : The V-Chip function is activated only on pro­
grams and tapes that have the rating signal.
To use the TV after the TV is protected.
When the program applied to the V-Chip setting is
received, enter the password, then press the ENTER
button. When the password is entered correctly the
protection will be temporarily overridden.
If you forget the password...
Disconnect the AC cord plug from AC outlet and leave
the unit for more than two minutes. Insert the AC cord
plug again, then turn the volume level into a minimum.
Press the VOL ~ button on the unit and the 0 buHon on
the remote control for more than 1 second simultaneously.
TO CHANGE PASSWORD
1 Repeat the steps 1-3 on “TO
REGISTER THE PASS­
WORD”, then enter the
Password using the Direct
Channel Selection button (0­
9), then press the ENTER
button.
2 Press the SET/TRACKING +
or - button to select CHANGE
PASSWORD, then press the
ENTER button.
3 Enter the new password using
the Direct Channel Selection
button (0-9), then press the
ENTER button.
4 Enter the same password
again to confirm, then press the
ENTER button.
5 Press the MENU button
repeatedly to return to normal
screen.

TO SET THE ON TIMER
This feature allows you to have the TV/VCR automati­
cally turn on at a predetermined time. If you program
the ON TIMER once, the TVA/CR will turn on on the
programmed day (daily/weekly) at the same time to
the same channel.
EXAMPLE: Turning on the TV to channel 12 at 7:00 AM,
MONDAY-FRIDAY.
1 Press the MENU button.

NOTES: * The TVA/CR will automaiicaHy turn off approxi­
mately 1 hour later after the ON TIMER turns on
if no OFF TIMER has been set. To contìnue
watching the TV, press any button to cancel the
one hour automatic shut off.
* To cancel ON TIMER, follow above steps 1-5,
then press the SET/TRACKING + or - button to
select the CANCEL. Press the MENU button
repeatedly to rehjrn to the normal screen.
* After setting the ON TIMER, “ | “ of the OFF TIMER
Will fìash on and off. If you wish to set the OFF
TIMER, press the ENTER button then follow the
steps 4-6 on " TO SET THE OFF TIMER".
* If you want to correct the digits while setting,
press the CANCEL button until the item you
want to correct, then press the SET/TRACKING
+ or - button to correct the desired setting.
