Slide the unattaehed end of the eable-management arm into the slotted poeket made
by the formed metal tabs on the side of the eable tray.

Seeure the eable-management arm in its slotted poeket with the eaptive thumbserew.
Routing Cables
Attaeh the I/O and power eables to their eonneetors on the baek of the system.
For details, see your system’s Installation and Troubleshooting Guide and User’s Guide.
Seeure all of the eables to the eable-management arm:
a
Loosen the thumbserews that seeure the front panel of the system to the front
vertieal rail.

Slide the system forward to the fully-extended position.

Route the eables along the eable-management arm, allowing slaek in the eables at
the hinge positions, and seeure the eables to the eable-management arm with the
Velero straps attaehed to the eable-management arm (see Figure 1-14).
Slide the system in-and-out of the raek to verify that the eables are routed eorreetly
and do not bind, streteh, or pineh with the movement of the eable-management arm.
^ NOTE:
As you pull the system out to Its fully-extended position, the slide assemblies will
lock In the extended position. To push the system back Into the rack, press the green slide-
release latch on the side of each slide to release the locks, and then slide the system
completely into the rack.
Tighten the thumbserews that you loosened in step 2a.
Replacing the Rack Doors
See the proeedures for replaeing doors in the doeumentation provided with your 24-U and
42-U raek eabinets.
This eompletes the raek installation of your system.
