The File Link Preferences window provides the ability to configure Preferences. Click the
Preferences menu item on the File Link tab to set preferences. Select the File Type and
Image Type. The path and file naming scheme can be set as desired.
Note that your medical records system may need these to be configured in a specific way.
Please consult your EMR vendor before making changes.
The checkboxes at the bottom right of the Preferences screen control when output files are
automatically generated, and the type of output.
File Types include:
Image (TIF or PDF)
Image files have either an extension of TIF or PDF. They can be
viewed with any image viewer that is compatible with the image file
type.
XML Files with an extension of XML contain patient information and test
results which can be imported into an EMR.
TFL Files with an extension of TFL can be double-clicked to launch the
appropriate test in CardioPerfect Workstation.
