Safety
WARNING
Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions before using the
invasive blood pressure kit.
WARNING
When applying the kit to the patient, make sure that absolutely no air
penetrates the system.
WARNING
To achieve correct arterial pressure measurement, the pressure
sensor must be installed on the level of the right atrium.
WARNING
If the pressure sensor's position is moved after calibration, this may
give inaccurate values.
WARNING
If an invasive catheter for blood pressure measurement is introduced
into an arterial vessel, the circulation in the terminal vessels must be checked at
regular intervals.
WARNING
Single-use accessories must not be reused.
WARNING
For patient safety, ensure that neither the sensors nor the patient or
persons touching the patient, come into contact with conducting objects, even if
these are grounded.
WARNING
Precautions must be observed when using high frequency devices.
To prevent the incorrect IBP measurements, only use sensors that are protected
against high-frequency radiation.
Note
The kit and operating procedure vary according to manufacturer. Please consult
the manufacturer's documentation for connection.
Note
For warm-up time/ready for measurement and displacement for invasive
transducers, refer to the documentation of the transducer manufacturer.
Note
P1 is the only connection that can determine the HR/PR source.
