Cleaning the Recording Head Area
The recording head area inside the fiim com­
partment becomes dirty from fiim passing
through. Uniess it is cieaned reguiariy, there
may be a ioss of picture or sound quaiity. it is
important to ciean the head area at ieast
once every five cartridges. The pinch roiier
becomes white when dirty; when it gets con­
spicuous, ciean it. Siightiy moisten the head
cieaning stick (cotton swab which comes
with the camera) in a littie aicohoi and wipe
the pinch roiier and capstan as indicated in
the pictures above.
