Position the AF frame
over the subject and
hold the shutter button
pressed down halfway.
^ The camera makes a brief
zooming sound.
• Make sure that the green
indicator blinks (2 times/
second).
• Photographs taken with real
time release, or with focus
lock, can be taken in the
same way as in normal
photography. 37)
Keep the camera aimed
at the subject. When
you see the picture you
want, press the shutter
button fully.
^The shutter is released
immediately.
Canceling Real Time Release Mode
• Press the K9> flash mode button and m™ 0 remote
control/self-timer button at the same time again, or turn the
camera off.
• We recommend using < V) , * , or ® flash modes
in real time release mode. (H and
flash
modes use red-eye reduction and therefore delay the
shutter release for approximately one second as they
do in normal mode.

* Because auto-focusing is automatically set to one
point in the center of the viewfinder, position the AF
frame over the subject.
