NOTES ON BATTERIES

Warning: The voltage specification for AA-type Lithium

batteries is different than the voltage specification for
Manganese, Alkaiine and NiCd AA-type batteries. As a
result of the differences, and fhe lack of complefe testing

for reliability and performance, AA-type Lithium batteries
shouid not be used in Nikon products. Use of AA-type

Lithium batteries could damage the electrical components

of the Nikon products. Nikon products which use Lithium

batteries, other than the AA-type, are not affected by this

warning.

Compared with regular batteries, NiCd batteries provide

greater efficiency at low temperatures. Before charging

NiCd batteries, thoroughly read the instructions for

batteries and the battery charger.
