Changing the lithium battery in the
camcorder
Your camcorder is supplied with a lithium battery installed. When the battery becon
weak or dead, the iJ? indicator flashes in the viewfinder for about 5 seconds when yoi
set the POWER switch to CAMERA. In this case,
replace the battery with a Sony
CR2025 or Duracell DL-2025 lithium battery. Use of any other battery may presc
a risk of fire or explosion.
The lithium battery for the camcorder lasts for about 1 year under normal operation.
(The lithium battery that comes installed at the factory may not last 1 year.)

Note on lithium battery
The lithium battery has positive (+) side and negative (-) side as illustrated.
Be sure
insert the lithium battery with the positive side facing out.
WARNING
The battery may explode if mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble, or dispose of ir
fire.
Caution
Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of chiidren. Should the batter.
be swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
